Celebrating World Environment Day
Every year on the 5th June we celebrate World Environment Day, a global event aimed at promoting awareness and action for the protection of our environment. Established by the United Nations in 1972, this day serves as a reminder of the importance of preserving the natural world for future generations.
World Environment Day places emphasis on our responsibility to protect and preserve our natural world, a topic very dear to e-volve values. At e-volve, we aim to empower employees, clients, suppliers and partners with intelligent data and insights to make more sustainable and intentional technology procurement decisions and we illustrate this through our pledge to the planet, people, and community.
It is our goal to inspire meaningful action through leading by example. We are committed to supporting our clients in their sustainability journey by bringing our broad expertise in strategy, technology, digital and innovation to guide our clients on how to achieve their own sustainability goals. At e-volve it is our ambition to integrate sustainability into all our services and make it a cohesive part of our client work. To reach that goal, we have set up a sustainability committee that extends across all areas of our business, and we are proud to have attained Synergy membership within the HP Amplify Program for two years running.
The e-volve environmental ethos is encapsulated clearly by CEO David Simpson: “Environmental Day is a day of celebration, of making pledges, and building on promises. It is a commitment to creating a happier, healthier, and greener planet, leaving a stronger legacy for generations to come.”
By promoting sustainable practices and encouraging eco-friendly habits, World Environment Day helps foster a collective commitment to safeguarding our planet for future generations. At e-volve, it is our sincerest wish that our own sustainability policies will inspire other individuals and enterprises to join us and take meaningful action.
